“Better Angels” is the National Federation of Republican Women’s Book of the Year for 2021. It is a collaboration between Sadie Keller, a young cancer survivor, and Texas Congressman Michael McCaul. This book is to bring focus on childhood cancer and is very touching. All proceeds of this book will go to childhood cancer research.

Former surfing champion and State Senator Fred Hemmings’ “Can, No Can! Making Changes, Hawaiian Style” includes his discussions when he was at the legislature. Excellent book!

One of HFRW’s Maui members, Barbara Tengan, is also a pastor, and wrote her book, “The Unveiling of the Divided States of America. Introduction to the Two Competing Parties: The Insane vs. The Stupid.” Another enjoyable book I recommend. Pastor Tengan tells it like it is!
